Our menus are full of choices! The food we serve not only stimulates the appetite but stimulates the mind!

Flexible, Delicious, and Individual

For breakfast Hillcrest features a hot, home-cooked meal as well as many cold cereals and fruits to choose from every morning. Breakfast is from 7:00-9:00 – so we catch even the late risers.

Our Lunch and Supper menus always have a wide variety of options with at least two freshly made meal choices at each. Lunch is from 11:00-1:00 and supper is served from 5:30-6:30. We offer an "Always Available" menu, for the times when you "just feel like a cheeseburger" or "I'm hungry for a fried egg" with lots of other choices. Our kitchen is staffed and ready to serve from 4:30am-8:00pm.

Our snack cart offers drinks, sandwiches, malts, fruits, and fresh vegetables two times a day. The snack cart is stocked with items based on resident requests, which leads to resident satisfaction.

Local Produce and Products

We take ideas from residents and build our weekly menus with our Registered Dietitian around the wants and needs of our residents. Each resident has an individualized experience based on what they like and need.

One of the greatest things that we do at Hillcrest is buy local produce and products. We are able to tell our residents exactly where the carrots came from, which creamery made the cheese, and which dairy produced the yogurt.
